Rabbi Ari N. Enkin M.A., originally from Montreal, fulfilled his lifelong dream of making aliya in July 2004 after serving eight years as a rabbi in several Canadian congregations and communities. He received his semicha from the Beit Hamidrash L’horaah of the Yeshiva Gedola of Montreal, as well as from the late Rabbi Pinchas Hirshprung.  He also received an M.A. degree specializing in Informal Adult Education from Athabasca University. Rabbi Enkin, his wife Shayna, and their children currently live in Ramat Beit Shemesh. His preferred area of study and teaching is halacha.
His book "Dalet Amot", which deals with 100 contemporary halachic issues, is due to be released before Shavuot.
